Long before I was the king of all Godzilla fandom, I was a lowly employee of a popular copy shop. I would do on the spot graphic design for local rap acts that would come in the store. One band in particular was called The Columbians. I actually did full posters, flyers, CD covers, and my artwork was even featured in several popular rap magazines. My art design even got made into a t-shirt, which became teh number one seller at a local t-shirt shop. I only got paid $20 for this design, and it never turned out to be the profitable venture I thought it would be.
The band is now long defunct, but I'm still proud of this one piece right here. To me, at least, it looks like a professional album cover. I finally found my original CD, and wanted to show off my art here to prove that I can do more than just funny Godzilla stuff.
Man, my [link] album art may be bitchin', but yours looks a lot more like an album cover... (lol anal bum cover)... though that might be because I purposely left off all the other bits and logos for them to add as they pleased
No one ever said you couldn't do anything but Godzilla related work. 'sides, you did mention that you worked in a copy shop, and it's only natural that you'd be doing graphic artsy things like this.
